These are the ninja training courses that a Gyokku Ninja takes over the first few years, to enhance combat capability...
Initial training is in fitness, meditation and basic combat techniques. These methods are relatively simple, but still important, because they are the foundation upon which your higher training is built up. Pay especial attention to balance exercises - if you can do the balance exercises with your eyes closed, for example, using only the balance organs in the ears to keep yourself upright, you will NEVER fall in the midst of combat.
After this is advanced training in Hangeki Techniques, and use of the Concealed Blade and bone-crushing Stealth Shield to take on attackers.
There are levels even beyond the Master's Training - The next set of Gyokku ninja training courses teaches the Ninja Master advanced methods of weapons combat, and after that the five great jutsu styles - Ninja bukijutsu:
Nagamaki Jutsu (art of the sword, includes complex counters),
Jitte Jutsu (a complex blunt weapon combat form),
Naginata Jutsu (Polearm and staff techniques),
Kusari Jutsu (complex chain weapon techniques using a special gyokku ninja chain weapon with multiple attachments),
Shuriken Jutsu (the art of the thrown weapon - this includes throwing spikes, ninja stars, throwing knives and caltrops).
These five styles together teach the ninja to use his ENVIRONMENT as a weapon in combat - everything, everything is a weapon in the hands of a ninja trained in the five great bukijutsu forms
You will then learn the millennia-old philosophies of the clan, and the complex meditations that underlie all the Clans teachings, and indeed, our understanding of the world, humanity, and perhaps of the universe itself.
This will turn you into a balanced warrior - a person not only powerful, but also wise.
There is a LOT more training after this (stealth, agility, climbing, concealment, organic poisons, electronics... much, much more) - the path to mastery of the way of the ninja is a long road. But it is a road rich with learning. I am proud to assist you on this journey.
