"The way of the ninja is the art of vision;
The ninja projects his mind and intention

Guiding the paths of destiny;

At each moment of one's life, one is surrounded by an infinity of possibilities. As is each single living being. This is the wonder of life, that each of us, at every single moment in time, can reach out into a universe of possibilities.
Too often we do not realize this. Too often we limit ourselves by not believing sufficiently in our own potential.
"Breathe deeply. Center yourself in the tai-ten, and visualize. See an infinity of possible futures extend from your tai-ten. Visualize them as golden threads of light. Touch each thread gently, watch it as it disappears into the distance of time, to weave itself into the threads of the destinies of your brothers and sisters."
The ninja looks at the cosmos from beyond time. He does not exist in the present, remember the past, and expect the future. He steps back from the whole scheme of time, to exist in past, present and future simultaneously. And since he exists this way, the past holds no trauma that cannot be nullified, and the future is a well-loved friend.
"Visualize the future timeline extending from your tai-ten into the future. Extend the ki to protect the future timeline to infinity. Bring into the protection of your ki the future timelines of those you love and wish to protect, and extend the ki around them too. The universe is awash with ki, limitless, draw upon this to protect the future timeline. Then visualize possibilities along this timeline. Does one possibility please you better? Direct the flow of universal energy to it, bring it into your timeline, MAKE IT POSSIBLE."
